For over 20 years, Danielle Ripley-Burgess has been a colorectal cancer survivor; she was first diagnosed at age 17. She is part of the growing community of patients facing the disease well before age 50 and Lynch syndrome is behind her multiple cancer cases. Although cancer has woven itself into most days of her life, Danielle’s found resilience and strength. As a passionate patient-advocate, she speaks out to offer hope, light and purpose to others. She serves as the Chief Storyteller for the national nonprofit Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) where she oversees the award-winning magazine, Beyond Blue, and adds a patient perspective into everything they do. She resides in the Kansas City area with her family. Follow her on social media at @DanielleisB.
