Dr. Bansal is a board-certified gastroenterologist and the Medical Director of Gastrointestinal Cancer Prevention Clinic at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. His area of research is cancer prevention/interception.He is lead PI of a National Study Involving 14 NCI-designated cancer centers to test a novel vaccine-based strategy for prevention of colon cancer in patients with Lynch syndrome.
