Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 26th CGA-IGC Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee November 11-13th, 2022. The CGA-IGC Annual Meeting will provide critical data and information designed to keep clinicians and scientists up-to-date on new developments in hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes. This is a can’t-miss meeting for genetic counselors, physicians, scientists, advanced practice providers, psychologists, and nurses who seek state-of-the-art updates in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes.

After two years of virtual meetings, we are ecstatic to host our in-person meeting in Nashville, Tennessee—Music City! The meeting will take place at the Loews Hotel, located across from Vanderbilt University in the West End of Nashville —off the tourist path— just minutes from the city’s most renowned attractions.

CGA-IGC 2022 will deliver a high-quality scientific program, sharing the latest developments in hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes across the spectrum from basic science to the bedside. The program will include daily plenary sessions and multi-disciplinary state-of-the-art lectures with panel discussions. There will be ample opportunities to network with international experts in the field. There will also be multiple avenues for researchers to share their work and foster collaboration. We are excited to continue to promote professional development for early-career individuals with dedicated sessions and events for this group. In addition to the stimulating academic program, we will also host various fun social activities to give attendees an opportunity to relax and catch up after two long years without an in-person meeting. Come experience the music and food of Nashville!

The 2022 CGA-IGC Annual Meeting in Nashville will be the perfect place to gather after a long period of virtual events. Join us to discuss the scientific advances in our specialty and reconnect with colleagues and friends.
