In collaboration with the Colon Cancer Foundation, CGA-IGC is offering a travel grant in the amount of $2000 to a trainee or junior faculty member to recognize excellence in translational research focused on the molecular biology of colorectal cancer. The Colon Cancer Foundation has a special interest in the biology of early age onset and hereditary colorectal cancer, however research in other areas of colorectal cancer (such as novel treatments, innovative minimally invasive screening strategies) will also be considered.

If you are interested in applying for this grant, you should submit an abstract to 2023 CGA-ICG Annual Meeting.

  1. a signed letter of support from your training program director or division leader attesting that you are a trainee or junior faculty member (within two years of appointment)
  2. a curriculum vitae
  3. a brief bio

Your bio and headshot may be used in media materials by CGA-IGC and/or the CCF.

Incomplete applications may be excluded from consideration. Applicants will be notified by August 04, 2023 and must attend the CGA-IGC Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, NV, including an awards reception on the evening of October 25th.
